Lindsay Guzzardo began her career as an editor at Penguin. Through tenures at Penguin/Signet, Guideposts Books, and Amazon Publishing, she acquired and edited numerous bestselling and acclaimed titles. She edited Guideposts Books’ first New York Times bestseller, A Sweethaven Summer by Courtney Walsh, and was one of the original editors brought onboard at Amazon Publishing, where she was pivotal in launching the Montlake Romance and Lake Union imprints. At Amazon, she acquired debut suspense author Kendra Elliot, whose titles have sold 15+ million copies, and Marina Adair's bestselling “Vineyard Series,” which was adapted into a hit movie trilogy for the Hallmark Channel.

Today, as founder of Keystone Literary Agency, Lindsay combines two decades of editorial and agenting experience to represent unforgettable stories and transformative ideas, partnering closely with authors to develop books that resonate with a broad readership and build enduring careers. Her editorial background shapes a hands-on approach to representation, helping authors sharpen positioning, strengthen manuscripts, and develop projects with lasting commercial potential.

Whether fiction or nonfiction, Lindsay seeks exceptional storytellers whose work combines a compelling hook, emotional or intellectual resonance, and the potential to reach a broad readership.

She is especially interested in:

Fiction:

  • High-concept commercial fiction
  • Multi-generational family stories
  • Richly atmospheric historical fiction
  • Suspense with psychological depth
  • Heartwarming small-town fiction
  • Contemporary romance
  • Retellings
  • European settings

Narrative and Big-Idea Nonfiction

Lindsay is particularly interested in narrative nonfiction and idea-driven books that bring expertise to a broad audience. She seeks compelling storytellers and recognized experts with fresh perspectives in areas including history, science, sports, leadership, psychology, culture, biography, and memoir.
